Hierarchies and Complex Motions

Object linking and building hierarchical structures are common techniques in computer modeling and animation. You can group objects together to form a hierarchy. In Awakening, only movable objects (mobile, skinmesh, etc) can be grouped. Once a movable object (or multi-object) is grouped,  a new dummy group object appears and becomes it's parent. The dummy group object is a movable object itself, and also can be grouped.

By grouping objects, you can build complex hierarchies and complex motions. For example, after you complete "Earth Moon System", group the Earth and the Moon, then animate the group object to circle the Sun.
