A while back when I was doing the cubic rooms we used DDS, generated from 6 images, is there a way to use spherical images to get the same effect, Thea my main renderer doesn't support cubic faces,
I can save the images as png, hdri, exr and the usual common ones

I was never happy with the quality of the DDS files

Also would shadow catchers be possible, in Thea we use them to cast shadows on HDRI images, you have a 3D object on a plane that on shows cast shadows tipically from the hdri

The image looks nice. I think use spherical images for cubic room is workable, but may case artifacts on the border.

I've found a tool to convert the png's to faces or cube cross so its not really a problem, the images out of Thea convert a lot better than the ones I did in the earlier cubic room tests

Is it possible to stop the camera paning by left clicking and dragging the mouse? and just have the world move by the cursor going to the edges
