I have wrote a pathfinding routine in Lua. Now the problem is that interpreted the routine is too slow. Only after compiling to .luac i get the estimated speed. Now my question is: will Awakening compile all used scripts or do it also only interprete the Lua code during execution ?

--Update--
Seems a problem of the Lua editor - from command prompt much faster - hope also in Awakening

Awakening compile lua codes to memory and execute it.

For Scripts in Script Resource, every DoScript action will cause a compiling behavior.

For User Script File, only compile once when loading scene.

So for frequently called functions, write it in USR file or 'require' it in USR file is better for performance.
